As a Prep Cook, you help set the stage for everything we create in the kitchen. Your dedication to preparing fresh, well-crafted ingredients makes it possible for our team to deliver dishes that inspire and delight. You bring energy and precision to every task, from organizing your station to supporting your colleagues. Your contribution plays a big part in creating the warm and memorable experiences our guests look forward to. You enjoy working in a place where learning and teamwork go hand in hand.

We believe in developing talent from within and supporting your long-term goals. As a Prep Cook, you will gain hands-on experience with diverse ingredients and equipment, cross-train on different stations, and build your skills with daily guidance. Many of our Prep Cooks have progressed into Line Cook and Chef de Partie roles through mentorship, on-the-job training, and development programs.

A day in the life
  • Preparing and portioning ingredients to ensure smooth and efficient service
  • Following recipes and prep lists with care, accuracy, and consistency
  • Keeping your workspace clean, organized, and stocked to support your teammates
  • Completing opening and closing duties, including labelling, rotating, and storing ingredients properly
  • Maintaining food safety and sanitation standards
  • Building your knowledge of culinary methods through hands-on coaching and support
  • Contributing to a collaborative kitchen culture where everyone feels supported

What we hope you’ll bring to the team
  • At least one year of experience in a professional kitchen, ideally in a high-volume setting
  • A sense of ownership and accountability for your work, with a proactive mindset
  • Strong attention to detail and clear communication skills
  • Solid basic knife skills and confidence handling kitchen equipment safely
  • Understanding of food safety and sanitation practices
  • Excellent time management and the ability to stay calm and organized when things get busy
  • A positive, open-minded approach and an eagerness to learn
  • Adaptability and willingness to assist with different tasks as needed
  • Availability to work weekends and holidays
